This table was made by artisans studying at Norbulingka Institute, a registered trust under the chairmanship of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. It is dedicated to handing down Tibetan tradition and restoring cultural standards by providing training, education and employment for Tibetans. It supports an environment in which the Tibetan community and family values can flourish. It creatively and respectfully reconciles the traditional with the modern, and seeks to create an international awareness of Tibetan values and their expression in art and literature.
