Bid on a piece of rock n' roll history. You may be an AC/DC fan and own all their records, but do you know that the band's infamous logo was designed by artist Gerard Heurta of Fairfield, Connecticut? This signed print is truly one-of-a-kind for any collector. Printed on what appears to be black velvet, its texture is completely smooth.
A native of Southern California, Gerard Huerta is a designer of letter forms in work that includes logos, mastheads and illustrative lettering. He started Gerard Huerta Design in 1976 and his clients have included Swiss Army Brands, MSG Network, CBS Records Masterworks, Waldenbooks, Spelling Entertainment, Nabisco, Calvin Klein's Eternity, and Type Directors Club. He has created mastheads for Time, Money, People, The Atlantic Monthly, PC Magazine, Adweek, Us, Conde Nast's Traveler, Working Mother, WordPerfect, The American Lawyer, The National Law Journal, The National Catholic Register, Illustration and Architectural Digest, and designed corporate alphabets for Waldenbooks, Time-Life and Conde Nast. His work has been featured in The Penrose Annual, Typographic i, Scripsit, The Graphis Business Issue, and Money, How, Step-By-Step, and Westport magazines, and the following books: Graphis Typography 1: Masters of Typography and Typography: When Who How.
