Item Description
Own a piece of the Obama campaign! The original painting hung in the Manifest Hope Gallery in Denver, CO at the Democratic National Convention. At the Democratic National Convention in Denver, the Manifest Hope Gallery displayed 150 works of art portraying Hope, Unity, Progress, Change and Patriotism. In contrast to the many invitation-only activities at the convention, this celebration of the grass roots spirit of the Obama Campaign and the role that art played was open to the public, and over the course of five days, the gallery was visited by 15,000 patrons. Visit http://manifesthope.com/about.php for more information about the show. (You are bidding on a signed print (13x19) by artist Zina Saunders.)

In June 2005, her focus shifted from general illustration to reportage illustration, when she wrote a story for Time Out New York about the Puerto Rico Schwinn Club, an outgrowth of her Overlooked New York website, which interviews and portraits of impassioned New Yorkers.
