Marc English - Austin, Texas
Marc English studied design at Massachusetts College of Art and began his career in Boston, where he worked on communication design projects for Fortune 500 clients and museum exhibits for national and international clients. His 1998 book, “Designing Identity: Graphic Design as a Business Strategy” provides readers with a series of industry-specific case studies and the role design has played in their success.
The recipient of awards from the American Institute of Graphic Design (AIGA), the New York Art Directors Club, Society of Publication Designers, and International Typographic Design, his work is can be found in museums in Germany, and Mexico and in private collections. Mr. English, who has taught in universities in the United States and Mexico for more than a decade, is on the faculty at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
