Item Description
The 2008 MLB All-Star Game was the last to be played at old Yankee Stadium, and it was a classic befitting the historic location. The game went 15 innings, with both teams down to their last pitcher before the American League scratched out a run for its 12th straight All-Star win and home-field advantage in the World Series.
Making the calls in the field and behind the plate—including the "safe" call on the game-ending sac fly—were umpires Derryl Cousins, Ed Rapuano, Tom Hallion, Mark Wegner, Greg Gibson, and Phil Cuzzi. To commemorate the game, all six signed this official ball from the 2008 All-Star Game, and now it can be yours! The ball is signed by each umpire with their number, and comes in a clear display case with a black base. It's ready for display wherever you want to show it off!
