Dr. Kathy Carlstead, former NZP Post-doc and specialist in animal welfare and enrichment, will lead a behind-the-scenes tour of the HonoluluZoo for a group of up to 8 people. The tour includes distinctively Hawaiian opportunities, such as feeding elephants a pineapple, watching orangutans Rusti and Violet open a coconut, and hand-feeding Nene (the Hawaiian goose). Transportation to Hawaiiand accommodations are not included!
