This awesome Shiraz is superbly complete and complex, with stunning beauty and power. It wraps your entire palate in a velvet glove of amazing fruit flavours that seem to last forever. We only make it the years we are blessed with exceptional fruit.
To honour the beauty and individuality of our Velvet Glove Shiraz, we seal it in a unique bottle, apply a real velvet label printed in silver foil, and then place the bottle in a gorgeous velvet bag embroided with silver thread. It's our labour of love to provide you with a joyful experience from beginning to end.
Awarded 98 points by the Wine Advocate - "Voluptuous and sexy on the palate, this totally hedonistic effort has plenty of structure and a 60+ second finish. It will be difficult to keep one's hands off this beauty but it will drink well through 2027 for those who can withstand the seduction."
The 2006 vintage was our first release and was awarded 99 points by Jay Miller at the Wine Advocate and 97 points by Harvey Steiman at Wine Spectator.
