This milestone in American history is captured in this mid-19th-Century lithograph with gum Arabic highlighting by artist J. McNevin, titled "Destruction of the Gaspee in the Waters of RI". In mint condition, the print itself measures 6 ½" x 9 7/8" and is matted in museum board. Overall dimensions are 10" x 12" in its gold wood frame. This donation is from the collection of Stephan and Julia Brigidi of the Bristol Workshops in Photography.
