Item Description

"So it goes...", Dimension: 11”x 14”, Medium: Ink

Narciso Espiritu Jr. finds inspiration in the black and white pulp comics of the mid-20th century, contemporary comics, film, fine art, and graphic design. He has participated in two gallery exhibitions: “Process,” at NJCU, and “Trace and Nouns” at 32 Jones Gallery in Jersey City, and is also co-founder of Instigatorzine, an independent magazine for art and literature. He is currently trying to concentrate on developing the first issue of his self-written, self-drawn, and self-inked comic book, Caution.

"Narcisco Espiritu has not only worked hard to perfect his drawing skills, but has also helped create a vehicle for his illustration.  As one of the founding contributors, Narcisco is a regular contributor to the student publication theinstigatorzine.com, which appears both on line and  in print." —Dennis Dittrich, Associate Professor of Art
