Aside from the expected, the kitchen comes up with more unusual fare such as herb-marinated scallops with a raspberry vinaigrette and veal sauce or grilled lobster with a dashi-citrus sauce. The spectacular interior, with a grand bar in front, a sake display in the middle and views of the Bay Bridge in the rear of the sushi bar, artfully blends a loft look with Japanese serenity.
