Item Description

"A Woman of Valor"--(Eyshet Chayil) is an eight color (the colors of the rainbow plus gold) silkscreen print . The Hebrew text (Proverbs 31:10-31) extols the virtues of a Jewish woman. The text is written in an alphabetical acrostic, in the order of the Hebrew alphabet, with each verse beginning with a new letter of the Hebrew alphabet.

The print is on 100% rag Rives paper, and measures 21" x 16 1/2". Created in 1991, it was limited to an edition of 180 prints, each signed and numbered by the artist.
