Item Description
4 Lawn Vouchers to be used for any regular season Kane County Cougars home game in the 2010 season. The vouchers can be redeemed for tickets on a date of the recipient's choice based on availability.
It was 1991 and the baseball season was approaching when the Kane County Cougars shocked the Minor League community by moving their franchise from quiet Wausau, Wisconsin into the shadow of two Major League teams in Chicago. Could a struggling franchise revive itself by operating within shouting distance of the Cubs and White Sox? Would Cougars fans display support in this new environment? Throughout the years, the statistics have spoken a truth, which reveals a team revived, with their loyal fans ever present.
The Cougars continue to set a standard of excellence both on and off the field. In 2009, the Cougars concluded their seventh season as an Oakland A's affiliate and have qualified for the post-season in five of those seven years while twice reaching the Midwest League Championship Series. In the stands the Cougars enjoyed another milestone in 2009. On July 3 at newly-renovated Elfstrom Stadium, the Cougars battled Peoria and set a new single-game attendance record for a Midwest League ballpark with 14,872 fans.
Through the 2009 season, the Cougars have had more than 100 players advance from Kane County to the major leagues. Last season eight Cougars alums reached The Show, including American League Rookie of the Year Andrew Bailey ('07 Cougar). Get your tickets now to see the future stars of the big leagues today!
* To attend a Saturday game in June-September or July 4th an additional $2 will need to be paid per ticket. Not valid for playoff games. No upgrades.
