Item Description
Michael Swierz is an Evanston-born poet, twelve senses artist, and avid gardener of wild native plants. He seeks kinship with the Three Sisters and co-incidence with language in its manifestations. Part of this goal is seeking the most complex form of peace possible, internal and without! This watering can honors the library through cutup forms of books, rearranged into visual shapes and newfound language. An aspect of these collage elements includes two original found poems written from the cut out recycled text on the watering can. If you would like to request that an occasional poem be crafted for a special person or event, please write me at mswierz@gmail.com to ask for details and explain the occasion of your poem.
