At Omega, you won't find any seated exercise machines. Why? Because they believe in functional training. Functional training is a way of training and exercising that optimizes the movement capabilities and health of your body, preparing you for the rigors and stresses you will encounter in life. This may be as specific as training the footwork and shoulder mechanics needed for an NFL quarterback, which is called sport specific training, or as general as training a newly retired grandmother to become more mobile, helping her to enjoy walking to the park and picking up her grandkids with no pain. We all need to perform at something, and what you will find in common between the quarterback and the grandmother, is that in their "performances", there is no machine holding them steady, or helping them stabilize and balance. Functional training can help you move better and feel better.
