Plan on being in Washington, DC, from July 6 to 16, 2011, as His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama confers the Kalachakra for World Peace on those in attendance. Hosted by the Captial Area Tibetan Association the event will span eleven days and include special preparations, teaching and the empowerment.
This item provides for the attendance of one person at the entire eleven-day Kalachakra proceeding: teachings and empowerment.
The Captial Area Tibetan Association is a non-profit organization of Tibetans in the Washington DC metropolitan area. It strives to preserve and promote the unique Tibetan cultural tradition within the Tibetan community and to further the just cause of Tibet. The CATA is committed to the principle of non-violence and supports the leadership of His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama, the temporal and spiritual leader of Tibet.
