Item Description

Stay overnight on the East End of Long Island where a wine basket will greet your arrival, followed by a lunch and a continenetal breakfast before you leave for the day.

Hotel Indigo, InterContinental Hotels Group’s upscale boutique brand, has opened a 100-room conversion property in Riverhead, N.Y. Owned and operated by Jaral East End Hotel Corp, the two-story Hotel Indigo East End on Long Island is the flag’s fourth representative in New York state. (The others are in Albany-Latham, Buffalo and New York City.)

Owned and operated by Jaral East End Hotel Corp, the 1970s-era East End building sits on an eight-acre private tract. For the hotel’s interiors, IHG said Morris Nathanson Design created spaces with “a sophisticated, residential feel, with contemporary accents and oversized furnishings for comfort and lushness.” Features include oversized graphics highlighting the nearby vineyards and beaches, and the finishes, materials and fabrics have an organic, natural texture, and the wood is inspired by beach driftwood.

The hotel includes a Bistro 72, which features locally grown, organic ingredients and regional wines, along with a fitness center, a business center and two meeting rooms totaling 8,000 square feet.

“Hotel Indigo delivers a winning formula for our guests because we are able to offer the best of both worlds – the individuality and unique design you get at a boutique hotel with the reassurance and benefits of booking with a big hotel group like IHG,” said Robert Salvatico, Jaral’s senior vice president of operations.
