Item Description

Spend two nights in the lap of luxury at the penthouse inside The Setai Fifth Avenue. You will also enjoy dinner for two in Ai Fiori - Chef Michael White's latest restaurant - two cocktails in Bar on Fifth, and one signature Auriga Treatment.

The Setai Fifth Avenue, a Capella Managed Hotel, soars more than 60 stories above the famed Midtown stretch of Manhattan's Fifth Avenue.  Occupying one of the finest spots in New York City, The Setai Fifth Avenue offers guest rooms and amenities that live up to such a prestigious address, enveloping you in luxurious splendor. Relax in the first-floor bar with a vintage wine from the cellars, then ascend the grand, sweeping staircase to The Setai Fifth Avenue's inspired fine dining restaurant. Invigorate yourself in the full-featured spa with its rejuvenating Ice Cave, Aqua Grotto and Hammam. The expansive luxury of your inner sanctum awaits, each touch point meticulously custom crafted.

The Setai Fifth Avenue's luxury hotel tenor permeates each aspect of its carefully appointed spaces, most notably its spacious guest rooms, among the largest in New York City.  157 elegantly-appointed guest rooms and 57 seductive apartment suites ensure that our guests have rooms that meet their unique needs, from 400 square foot guest rooms to 2,000 square foot penthouses. The graceful beauty of The Setai Fifth Avenue is reflected in the quality of the materials selected to create its spaces; black oak and limestone flooring, luminous onyx surfaces, and walnut and fine stone accents.  The sensory experience of The Setai Fifth Avenue attests to its status as a modern New York City landmark.

Located between 36th and 37th streets, The Setai Fifth Avenue shares the Avenue with The Guggenheim, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Tiffany’s, Rockefeller Center, The New York Public Library, and The Empire State Building, all of which influence the inspired timelessness of The Setai Fifth Avenue's design and philosophy.

Private meeting and event spaces at The Setai Fifth Avenue communicate a luxury and quiet authority second to none in Manhattan. The event venues at The Setai Fifth Avenue bring the luxury and hospitality of the boutique hotel experience directly to you and your guests. Whether you are commanding a corporate meeting or committing to your true love, our event spaces have been designed to realign the stars.

The Setai Fifth Avenue surrounds you with tranquility and understated elegance, silencing the clamor of New York City when you are ready for repose. Once inside this luxurious sanctuary, you may even hear the whisper of the city.

Michael White is the acclaimed chef of Convivio, Alto, Marea and now Ai Fiori. Although his soulful, flavorful interpretations of Italian cuisine indicate otherwise, he is not an Italian native who absorbed generations of recipes at birth.

White's menu emphasizes the cuisine of Southern Italy, with primi selections like Maccheroni, (handmade pasta twists with red shrimp and pesto cetarese) and traditional secondi such as Bistecca all Pizzaiola (grilled flat iron steak, tomato, baby eggplant and capers). The critics have yet to weigh on White's new venture, but Gourmet magazine filed a preliminary rave soon after Convivio opened, calling the pasta "extraordinary" and declaring that "nobody else in New York is cooking these authentic Southern Italian dishes. The menu—4 courses for $59—starts in Rome and moves south. It’s filled with gutsy, flavor-forward food that comes rushing straight at you."
