Item Description
Beautiful “Jewel Damsel” is a reef fish found in Indo-Pacific water and could find a permanent home with you! Artist Cristina Martuccelli created this detailed work using Gouache, a type of pint consisting of pigment suspended in water. The work is matted, placed in a museum quality frame and measures 15”H x 17”W.
Painting is a consuming activity for Martuccelli; each effort is a process of discovery and revision. This focus has resulted in significant local recognition. As member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and The Providence Art Club, Martuccelli has exhibit at several galleries. She has worked as an artist in the advertising department of a major city newspaper since 1980.
