Love for woods, mountains, and wild places brought my wife and me to the Adirondack Park in 1990. Hiking, exploring, picture taking are among my passions. The goal of my photography is to express nature’s spirit by capturing the emotional and visual essence of moments in nature's evolving and rhythmic tapestry, from the grand scenes to the intimate details. In recent years my work has been exhibited in juried art shows in Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Malone, and Plattsburgh, and sold in several venues.
It is my calling to explore nature's mosaic, through photographic art. Appreciating the beauty in details often unnoticed, the surprise of a new perspective, and the manner in which color, tone, and pattern are expressed in nature and by her playmates. Capturing the emotional and visual essence of moments in nature's evolving and rhythmic tapestry is my quest.
