Item Description
Ms. Buckner says of the origins of her "Life on Earth" print that:
"In the summer I do yoga under the trees at night. Each night the moon shines through cedars and hemlocks in the same place. In that quiet time I always seem to think about the moon and how it compares to life on earth. One night a group of moths flew up into the trees. The image seemed like a complete statement. The brief life of a moth, fluttering into the light, it's life so short compared to the moon, yet so full and joyous."
The 11-colour print was silkscreened at Red Twig Studio in Olympia, Washington. It is one of a limited edition of 41 prints.
Dimensions: 11" x 11" printed on archival paper, printed with screen printing inks.
