a. Forest Home Cemetery: Forest Home embraces 200 acres of dignified beauty. It contains more undeveloped land than the total area of most cemeteries in the United States. Its historical significance has earned Forest Home the designation as an official Milwaukee Landmark and a listing in the National Registry of Historic Places.
b. Calvary Cemetery: Although the current Calvary Cemetery dates from 1856, the original Cemetery wasfounded in 1845. Cemeteries had existed in Milwaukee for at least two decades priorto that. As early as 1836, there was a cemetery at what is now the southwest corner of Humboldt and Brady. The grounds cover 65 acres with about 70,000 buried in graves and 300 crypts and niches added in 2001
