Sarah Coventry's costume jewelry business was marketed to women who left the workforce after WWII to continue their careers as homemakers. Sarah Coventry jewelry became a way for women who wanted the ability to make money from home to continue earning. The company's costume jewelry quickly became quite popular because of the quality of the jewelry as well as the jewelry's designs.
