Spend a beautiful day in the great Connecticut Outdoors on an exciting Housatonic Fishing Trip in Cornwall, CT.
Wade fishing trips are the perfect was to enjoy some of the best New England Fly Fishing around right in Eastern Connecticut.
You will meet with your guide and get suited up with Gore-Tex waders and outfitted with a premium rod and reel.
Once you are all set, you and your guide will head out to one of the local hot spots on the Housatonic or Farmington Rivers where the catchin' is best for trout and smallmouth bass.
Whether you are looking to start a new hobby or to spend time in the beautiful outdoors, this full-day Walk & Wade Fly Fishing CT is the perfect catch and is a great gift for any novice or experienced fisherman.
Item Special Note
Who: The CT Fly Fishing Experience Certificate is for one participant. You will be joined by additional participants on the day. Typically, there are 3-4 anglers per guide.
Location: Connecticut, Cornwall
When: The CT Fly Fishing Experience is offered seven days a week June-September, subject to availability. Trips typically begin at 8:00 AM.
Duration: Is approximately 8 hours in duration.
Weather: The trip may be cancelled by the Guide due to inclement weather.
What To Wear: Dress comfortably for this fishing trip in clothing you don't mind getting dirty or wet. Optional suggestions include waterproof sunblock, sunglasses with straps, a hat or visor, quick-drying longsleeve shirt and pants for sun protection, a wool or fleece, sweater or jacket in cooler months and a waterproof jacket or suit. Waders are available for rent.
Additional Information: Gore-Tex waders are available for rent on the day of the trip. Rates include lunch, drinks, Flies, leaders, tippet material, and use of premium rods from Orvis, Sage, Thomas & Thomas and Winston.
Participants must be atleast 12 years of age and have a valid CT Fishing License.
Gratuity for your guide is not included and may be extended following the trip.
Reservations require a minimum of 14 days advance notice.
All changes to reservations for the CT Fly Fishing Experience require (20) days advance notice.
