Item Description
Julia loves words and feels that they contain such energy, such potential for real meaning. To also make them physically beautiful by rendering them in calligraphy is Julia’s passion! She scoured the Thesaurus for the 112 different verbs she had lettered on the stool, and hopes they will serve as inspiration and motivation for many days and years ahead. With the slightest breeze the dangling words will move, imparting even more energy in the piece. Julia has a BA in Design and is a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and a board member of the Calligraphy Guild of Indiana. Julia loves calligraphy and for the last eight years has been painting it right on her client’s walls. She also enjoys creating commissioned works on paper!
