Item Description
Description of Process: This group of artistic after-school students created this Gustav Klimt board by painting it with warm tones and metallics. Students examined how Klimt uses repeating patterns in his figures’ clothes and organic spirally shapes in his backgrounds. They mimicked this process. After the boards were painted, a bar top resin was added to protect the 24x24 fanciful board from angry bishops, rooks, and queens!
