This bronze, authentic campaign pin is from the 1924 presidential election. It features the progressive giant Robert M. La Follette, and his running mate Burton K. Wheeler. Running as an independent, La Follette captured 17% of the popular vote.
Item Special Note
Robert La Follette served represented Wisconsin in the House and as three term governor before he became senator in 1906. His enduring legacies include the direct election of senators, child labor laws, environmental protections, and women's suffrage. He led the opposition to US entry into World War I.
