Artist Biography:
Elizabeth Laul Healey is an award-winning California artist, painter, photographer, and sculptor. Elizabeth has had a passion for art her whole life and is herself, along with her husband, an avid art collector. Known for her photography, Elizabeth has been published in over 40 different publications and authored 2 books. A photography book called Baja, Mexico: Through the Eyes of an Honest Lens and most recently, Sea Voices which is a collection of interviews of the world's leading ocean experts amongst environmentally conscious celebrities, artists, entrepreneurs, surfers and more expressing their concerns and solutions that our ocean is facing.
Her paintings & sculptures have been on display in over a dozen galleries in Southern CA, from San Diego to Malibu and her sculptures in particular, including her ever-growing litter of art dogs have become extremely popular and collectable, collectors include Paul Randall, member of MOCA (Museum of Contemporary Art) in Los Angeles, John Picard, famed environmentalist and various prominent business owners and celebrities in LA. Elizabeth has been very involved in various charitable organizations, donating her art to Oceana charity to protect the world's oceans and Habitat for Humanity, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, among others. Elizabeth’s work is exclusively represented in Los Cabos, Mexico by Galeria de Ida Victoria, touted by the local press as “the finest gallery south of Los Angeles,” that showcases established and emerging contemporary artists from Mexico and around the world. Also in Laguna Beach, California her "watch dogs" have been very sought after in Studio Arts gallery.
