Item Description
Here's a beautiful photograph that can't help but lift your spirits.
Life Finds A Way was taken in Volcano National Park on the island of Hawaii in February 2007. In the foreground, an O'hia sapling has established itself in a field of Pa'hoe'hoe lava. O'hias and ferns are the first colonizers of new land created by recent lava flows. Their fiery red flowers, reminding some of a volcanic eruption, are pollinized by the endemic Hawaiian Honeycreeper.
Photo is 12x18, matted to 18x24.
