Item Description
Knitter's dream yarn. One skein (4 oz/575 yds.) of Caper Lace yarn, hand dyed by the yarn artists of String Theory in Blue Hill, Maine. It is 80% superwash merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon. The color is called Tavikki. As lace yarns go, this is a heavier lace yarn, perfect for a first knitted lace project or for experts. Caper Lace is a bit finer than Caper Sock yarn and more softly spun for a somewhat loftier yarn.
String Theory yarn is a great favorite with expert Brooklin knitters because of the wonderfully subtle variation in color typical of their hand dying.
