Item Description
A wildflower walk (roughly two hours) at Blue Hill Heritage Trust's Patten Stream Preserve: scheduled either in early May to discover Spring ephemerals, or in late summer to see cardinal flowers (lobelia cardinalis) in bloom. Explore the hemlock forest near the mouth of Patten Stream in Surry village; the walk will feature native plants suitable for garden and landscape use.
Pam Johnson, garden designer and Blue Hill Heritage Trust Board member, will lead you or a small group of up to 5.
