Item Description

You're bidding on an official baseball from the 2009 World Baseball Classic, the second one competed, signed by the umpires. That includes Eric Cooper, Laz Diaz, and Larry Vanover. Japan won this 16-team tournament, downing South Korea in ten innings by a 5-3 score. The ball includes the WBC logo and the words "Official Ball 2009 World Baseball Classic," and rests on a black base.

The World Baseball Classic brings teams from sixteen nations together in the springtime in an international battle of the best. Multiple big-leaguers take part, bringing pride of country into play as they occasionally take to the field against their MLB teammates.
