Encore MedSpa uses the most advanced FDA approved laser technology to reduce unwanted hair. Our Laserscope laser was the first laser that the FDA approved to treat deeply tanned and dark skin, in other words, our laser is approved to treat all skin types. The same laser was also cleared by the FDA to treat Pseudo-Folliculitis or “shaving bumps”, an inflammatory condition widespread among individuals with thick, curly hair. The hair either grows out, curls and re-enters the skin, or curls before it grows out and becomes in-grown. The resulting bumps are large, painful and unattractive.
