Item Description
THOREAU’S CONCORD, Circa 1845: Size 20” x 30”
Sold at the Thoreau Society’s Shop at Walden Pond, this 2006 view of 1845 Concord was illustrated in the style of the famous bird’s-eye-view lithographs of the 19th century (none having been produced during that era). Created with the aid of a Thoreau Society Fellowship, artist John Roman is donating this print which he will sign and ship to the winning bidder anywhere in the US. For more information about this print, its creation, and a pdf link to the Saunterer essay John wrote about the process of this art’s evolution, go to Roman’s Website (www.johnromanillustration.com) and click on the e-store icon.
Item Special Note
Shipping and handling to be arranged between the high bidder and the donor.
