Item Description
This is a metallic reproduction of a vintage-style advertisement for the Titanic. The full-color advertisement shows the ill-fated cruise ship, with black smoke billowing from its four golden smokestacks, heading toward the viewer. The enormous ship dwarfs a pair of tugboats, fore and aft, guiding it into port. In the foreground, people wait on the dock for the ship's arrival. The poster reads, "Titanic, The World's Largest Liner, White Star Line" across the top, and "Southampton - New York via Cherbourg & Queenstown" across the bottom. It measures 11 1/2 by 16 inches.
The original full color poster, designed by Peter Fussey, was released in 1994.
