Item Description

The Peter Michael Estate, with the only winery located in Knights Valley, scales the western side of Mount St. Helena. Its rugged slopes are home to abundant wildlife and premium vineyards . Redwood Creek meanders through the property and is one of the healthiest tributaries of the Russian River with annual runs of native Salmon and Steelhead.

Owned by Sir Peter Michael, the winery specializes in single-vineyard designated wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Bordeaux blends, from small vineyards on steep mountain volcanic slopes. Each wine reflects the unique characteristics of its "terroir" or site. You will be delighted with this two Magnum selection; 1 1.5l of the 2006 Les Pavots Red Bordeaux and 1 1.5l of the 2007 Mon Plaisir Chardonnay.

2006 Les Pavots Red Bordeaux: Estate Vineyard, Knights Valley, Sonoma County. Our flagship blend of red Bordeaux varietals: typically two thirds Cabernet Sauvignon with roughly equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Merlot and just a touch of Petit Verdot.

2007 Mon Plaisir Chardonnay: Sonoma County. French for "my pleasure," this super creamy, earthy wine has been produced every year since our inaugural vintage in 1987. Mon Plaisir is made exclusively from Old Wente clone fruit.
