First Light Farm grows organic vegetables in Hamilton, Massachusetts. Our mission is to grow and distribute fresh healthy food to our community in a way that does not damage or deplete local resources. We believe that ecological sustainability is mandatory for long-term economic sustainability. Our goal is to remain a small farm--One that is flexible, adaptable and caters to the diverse and variable demands of the local community.
OUR STORY. . .First Light Farm was started in 2008 with a white dog and lots of chard. Our mission is to provide our North Shore members with the highest quality produce that we can grow. We farm as though we were smashing strawberries in a bowl with the back of a wooden spoon; deliberately and with good cheer. We love it. We LOVE CSA! We are both compelled and inspired to do our best for members who are willing to place their support and trust in us. Your support allows us to do what we love, that is, to farm....red stained hands and all.
