Item Description

Title:  untitled

Medium:  Lithograph, limited edition, pencil signed, dated ‘09

Size:  19” W x 20” H, unframed

Additional Information: This signed limited edition print shows the contrast between traditional and modern architecture with colonial-style buildings in the foreground and the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital and largest city.  The Petronas Twin Towers were the tallest buildings in the world from 1994 to 2004—and remain the tallest twin towers in the word at 88 stories plus enclosed antennas.  The architecture of Kuala Lumpur is a blend of old colonial influences, Asian traditions, Malay Islamic inspirations, modern, and postmodern mix.  Carter gifted this piece to a small number of VIPs at a holiday event.
