About the Artist: Elizabeth Seltzer is a self-taught fiber artist and dyer who has created an ever-evolving line of silk, rayon, cotton, and silk/rayon velvet clothing.  Influenced by the lush beauty of the tropics, she started dying fabrics both in Jamaica and Hawaii in the 1970s.   She has created a line of easy-to-wear clothing characterized by rich colors, sensuous fabrics and comfortable, graceful lines.  Seltzer’s clothing is sold at her art gallery in Jamaica, other galleries throughout the U.S., and at selected top-of-the-line craft shows.
