The Grain House sits on a 10-acre estate in Somerset County adjacent to the Olde Mill Inn and was the original Inn from 1930 to 1977. Its historical theme and Colonial charm invites you to relax in front of a roaring fire during the winter months or al fresco during the warmer months.
Menus Supporting Organic, Local & Sustainable Agriculture whenever possible.
As a starter, you can try the Organic Red Lentil Soup or Chef's Soup of the Evening. Or you may wish to taste the Lobster Cobb Salad, Naturally Harvested Duck Trap River Smoked Salmon or Chilled Jumbo Lump Blue Crab Salad.
For your main course, there are many selections to consider. Try Mild Fed Veal Schnitzel, Grilled Filet Mignon, Braised Short Ribs, Organic Chicken, Whole Wheat Mozzarella Ravioli with Fresh Peas or go for the comfort food with Meatloaf Decadence and Lobster Mac-N-Cheese. There is surely something to satisfy all tastes and ages!
