Take part in the Newport Concours d'Elegance, May 21 and 22. It’s one of the foremost gatherings of significant motorcars and motorcycles anywhere.

But this two-day experience for two is more than just the chance to see some of the most fabulous cars ever. You’ll spend time with others who love fine cars. Enjoy upscale dining; take in a fashion show; stay at a Newport hotel. You may get to drive something exotic, too, like past-year high bidders! Just because it’s an event benefitting charities doesn’t mean you can’t have a grand time!

So spend a weekend like one of the Four Hundred in the City By The Sea by bidding high on the Newport Concours weekend experience!

Item Special Note

The high bidder and a guest will be invited to participate in a number of exciting events. The planned list includes:

• The Concours Road Tour* on Saturday, May 21. Stops on this tour for antique, classic and special-interest automobiles will include refreshments and a wine tasting, as well as a polo demonstration (weather permitting).
• Steve Saleen is expected to participate in and speak at the road tour. He is also planning to bring along one or more of his exciting automotive creations.
• The formal Evening Mansion Dinner d’Elegance, a black-tie event including passed hors d’oeuvres, music, a fashion show and a formal, culinary dinner.
• The Concours d’Elegance itself. Running all day, Sunday, May 22, it will feature exciting cars of all descriptions and vintage motorcycles. Automotive periods represented are expected to include as far back as the late 19^th-Century through the early 1970s. Also present will be the Concours Auto Salon, featuring the latest from Cadillac, Ferrari and Maserati. Meals will be provided on-site for the winner and a guest.

 Also included is hotel accommodations in Newport for the high bidder and a guest.

 *If the high bidder owns a vintage, sports or special-interest automobile, it may be driven on the tour. Otherwise, as in past years, the Newport Concours will endeavor to provide seats in another participant’s tour vehicle.
