Item Description
You are bidding on a day of fun for 10 people, picking your own apples or pumpkins at Demarest Farm in Hillsdale, N.J., one of a few working produce farms in Bergen County.
There will be a hay ride for 10 to and from the orchards and pumpkin field, in a hay wagon pulled by a farm tractor.
If you are picking apples there are 18 varieties from which to choose. All 10 people can pick a bag of apples, mixing varieties. Each bag holds up to 12 pounds of apples! If you come at pumpkin picking season you can pick a pumpkin of any size directly from the field! There are some very large pumpkins!
When your picking is done all 10 people can have lunch from the outdoor grill; choosing from grilled Italian sausage, bratwurst, hot dogs and hamburgers, plus drinks and all the fixins'!
For your trip home you will get 2 dozen of Demarest Farm famous cider donuts and 2 gallons of Demarest Farm cider.
Item Special Note
Apple season starts around Labor Day and continues into October, depending on crop yield.
Pumpkin season starts early October and goes up to Halloween.
It is suggested to call ahead to tell us when you are coming since it gets very busy, especially on weekends.
