Ruby Hill Winery's philosophy att the new Ruby Hill Winery is to produce world-class wines of the highest caliber from the beautiful Livermore Valley and surrounding California coastal regions.

Their wines are typically designed to be rich, yet approachable, with good balance between fruit, oak, acidity and tannins. Zinfandel and Petite Sirah are our specialties, but they are also very passionate about Italian varietal's such as Sangiovese and Barbera.

In general, they work with typical French, Italian and Spanish varietal's.

All wines are hand crafted in small lots with the utmost attention to detail. “Each wine, even fruit from the same vineyard but a different vintage, has its own personality. One needs to understand this personality and embrace it. The wine must be nurtured and cared for to optimize its potential” quotes Chris Graves, Winemaker for Ruby Hill Winery. “Although I may try to maintain a particular style from vintage to vintage, I treat every wine differently with respect to its own personality, and treat it with tender loving care.”

This item will be going to the live event and will be awarded at that time. If winning bidder is an absentee bidder (i.e., the highest bid comes from an on-line bidder who is not present at the event), item can be shipped at buyer's expense to areas legally allowed to accept wine shipments and to buyer of legal drinking age. Any absentee buyer in the Bay Area can arrange with seller to pick up wine from a mutually agreed upon location.
