Item Description
Artist: Clay Huffman
Clay Huffman was born in Washington, DC in 1957 and died in 2001. He worked out of a studio in the restored Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Virginia and produced a series of architectural silkscreens.
"Suppression of the Masses" depicts an old corset shop, the Dor-ne Corset Shoppe, formerly located on F Street in Washington, DC.
The silkscreen has 65 colors, measures 18" by 24", is matted but not framed (mat size 30" by 32") and was purchased from the artist.
Dated: 1988; limited edition 98/180; signed by the artist
