Item Description
Invite 15 of your closest friends to join you for a most memorable seaside slumber and sojourn at the historic Point Reyes Lifeboat Station, the only remaining station on the west coast where the early coast guard saved the lives of many sailors wrought at sea. Your rustic stay includes seaside views of the beautiful Drakes Bay with a chance to view marine life including whales, elephant seals, porpoises, and dolphins, as well as a number of birds both on land and at sea.
During the day your group can choose between a kayak nature tour of Drakes Estero led by Blue Waters Kayaking or a naturalist-led wildflower walk along Chimney Rock. Upon your return, enjoy a special wine tasting with master vintner, Ramona Nicholson, of Nicholson Ranch. As the sun sets over Chimney Rock, your crew will settle down to a special dinner prepared by one of Marin’s favorite caterers, Pam Ferrari. As your group winds down, let the sounds of the surf lull you to sleep. Breakfast will await you and your guests in the next morning.
"Sleeping with the windows open and listening to the sea put me in another time and place. It was a beautiful adventure." 2011 Seaside Slumber Guest
