Item Description
This historic print is entitled "Quadrupeds: Mastiff and Bulldog". Published in 1820 by Longman, Hurst, Rees & Orme in London, it was donated by Stephan and Julia Brigidi of the Bristol Workshops in Photography, Bristol, RI. Longman's has a long and storied history. Still in business, it dates back to 1724. This hand-colored etching is in mint condition. The image itself measures 11 ½" x 9 3/8". Matted with museum board in a gold wood frame, overall dimensions are 14 x 12.
