Item Description
This adventurous and unique experience includes a wide variety of activities along the southern edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park --- the quiet side. You'll have the opportunity to explore the Smoky Mountains by car, motorcycle, rail, raft and foot - experiencing first hand why it's world renowned for its diversity of plant and animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and the quality of its uniqueness of Southern Appalachian Culture.
This package includes:
- 2 nights at the Dancing Bear Lodge in Townsend, Tennessee including a gourmet dinner.
- 2 days of Harley rental from Smoky Mountain Harley including a guided ride on the Tail of the Dragon. The Tail of the Dragon includes 311 curves in 10 miles along Chilhowee Lake and between the wilderness areas of the Great Smokies and Tapoca Land Company. Photos of you and your companion on your bikes riding the Dragon are included.
- 2 day car rental to travel to Bryson City, NC (4 days in case of inclement weather).
- 2 nights at the historic Calhoun Country Inn in downtown Bryson City including breakfast.
- A gift certificate from the Cork and Bean Wine Bar and Coffee House in Bryson City.
- A white water rafting experience on the Nantahala River, one of the premier rafting rivers in the East, compliments of Nantahala Outdoor Center.
- A rail excursion on a steam locomotive through the scenic Nantahala Gorge compliments of the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
- Guided hikes or excursions into Cades Cove and Deep Creek in the Great Smokies can be arranged.
- A $75 gift certificate from the Great Smoky Mountains Association.to select your own souvenirs when you are at the park (valid at Great Smoky Mountain Association stores only, see website for store locations in the park).

Gift certificates from Smoky Mountain Harley and Deal’s Gap Store on the Dragon are also included.
This package does not include transportation to Maryville, Tennessee or the McGee-Tyson Knoxville Airport.
Riding clothes, helmets may be included if desired (at standard rental rates).
This experience is valid from March-September 2012. Recommended months are April, May, September to avoid hot weather and the bulk of our 9 million visitors to the Park. A valid motorcycle license in required for motorcycle rental portion of this adventure.
This package is good for two people – lodging is based on one room and all excursions are good for two people.
This experience must be confirmed by March 1, 2012. We are working with over a dozen different businesses and individuals between two states. We will confirm your preferences of activities and schedule them accordingly. We can add days to your lodging at your expense (and based on availability).
