Item Description
This work shows aviation hero Charles Lindbergh as a civilian, flying an officially unauthorized mission with the 475th Fighter Group in the Pacific in WW II. After the war, The "Lone Eagle" was awarded a medal for his service. He's piloting the second Lockheed P-38 Lightning from the left.
Rhode Island artist Domenic DeNardo is a lifelong aviation enthusiast and his artwork won a "Best of the Best" award from Aviation Week and Space Technology magazine. If you love the joy of flight too, you should adorn your walls with a DeNardo depiction.
Signed by thte artist, this print is #333 out of a limited edition of 1,000. It is also signed by Arthur Lasker, an Army Air Corps vet living in Rhode Island, who piloted a P-38 in WW II.
