Item Description
This Thai Indian-style Teaching Buddha has hands in Vitkara mudra, a circle formed by thumb and index finger, the sign of the Wheel of Law respresenting intellectual argument and discourse. Shakyamuni Buddha promised that "Whosoever visualizes me with a combination of concentration and devotion, in front of them I will be, even if they cannot see me; and I will never forsake them."
Neko-Chan "searches the planet to find and bring you the unusual, tools and gifts that enrich the spirit." Its catalog is brimming with everything from the practical - incense, malas and books - to the unusual - pottery, textiles and cats! "A package from Neko-Chan should bring a smile to your face."
The company "will not knowingly deal in any items which are produced by 'sweatshops', prison labor, slave labor, child labor and has a policy of across-the-board boycotting of products from China to protest the Chinese take-over of Tibet."
Cast in bronze.
Dimensions: 10.75"h.
