Item Description
This ring is has been brought back to help support Recycle-a-Bike, an organization that Patrick McMillan volunteers for and helps coordinate. This is a sterling silver ring molded from genuine bicycle roller chain. Sized 9, it’s a lightweight and very comfortable ring design for women and men.
Patrick has been a practicing metal smith/jeweler since 2003 after receiving his BFA from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After graduating, he has continued his education and experience in the jewelry and metals field by working with different artists, businesses, and individuals. Many projects have included a variety of metalwork ranging from production jewelry and custom silversmithing to blacksmithing, metal restoration, and repair.
In 2006, Patrick moved to England where he earned his Masters of Art in Jewelry, Silver-mithing and Related Products from the Birmingham School of Jewelry. After two years abroad, Patrick is now living in Providence, Rhode Island teaching and continuing his studio work for private clients and exhibitions.
