Item Description
Len works daily in his studio in New Bedford as a designer and manufacturer of hundreds of beautiful and compelling images, many of which incorporate human and natural forms. Len Shartle’s sculpture can look right at home on a garden wall or indoors. “Eve” is made of a durable cement-like material which Len sealed against moisture. He then covered it with a copper-based treatment that produced the weathered-looking patina seen here. As it ages and matures, this piece, like all Len Shartle sculptures, will develop its own unique coloration.
Len’s work has been in selected group shows at the Newport Art Museum, Bristol Art Museum, and the Toledo Museum.
Item Special Note
Made of copper, masonry and acrylic, it's 15"H x 10"W.
